As a veterinary nurse Becs first started visiting the club at our puppy socialisation classes on a monday morning, giving advise to our new puppy owners. In 2007 she started coming to our basic obedience classes on a Thursday night to watch and learn from our training methods and over time joined our basic obedience instructing team to begin training to become a member of the obedience instructing team.
After a very long wait Becs finally got her own dog, a Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla called Briar. Since bringing Briar home Becs has spent much of her time training him (and more often playing with him!). Briar recently completed his Kennel Club Puppy Foundation course and Becs is looking forward to working him in the more advanced classes and hopefully agility when he is old enough!
