Profile of Instructor - Malcolm Card
Malcolm has been competing in agility for 15 years and is now running his 4th agility dog, a young collie x whippet called Bex. He is hoping he will emulate Spud (collie x whippet) now running in Grade 7, a very special dog!
Mac's experience has come from years of watching, listening and talking to some of the best handlers, trainers (and wife Wendy)!! He believes in being firm but fair and fun with both handlers and dogs. He enjoys the competitive side but this is not a necessity to enjoying agility.
Mac is always open to new ideas and methods and will try to help any dog or handler with a particular problem. He certainly enjoys the challenge of getting the best out of a dog and especially the handler.
Mac also carries out any repairs on our agility equipment and generally does a great job of keeping everything in good working order. Thanks Mac! He has also served as a committee member during his time with the club.
